- Account Information: When you register an account, we collect personal information provided via our authentication provider, Clerk. This may include your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Clerk handles the authentication process; you can review Clerk's Privacy Policy at https://clerk.com/privacy.
- User Prompts: We collect and store the text prompts you submit to generate avatars, videos, and hooks through the Service.
- Generated Content: We store the avatars and videos generated by you through the Service to make them accessible to you via your account and gallery.
- Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. We receive information from Stripe necessary to manage your subscription, such as subscription status and plan details. You can review Stripe's Privacy Policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
- Usage Data (Future): We plan to collect information about how you interact with the Service in the future. This may include features used, actions taken, IP address, browser type, and device information. This data will be used for analytics purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To manage your account and subscriptions.
- To process your payments through Stripe.
- To respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer support.
- To send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
- To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Service (primarily using future analytics data).
- To improve the Service, including enhancing our AI models and developing new features.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information about you in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who need access to your information to perform services on our behalf, such as Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Replicate and Google Gemini (AI model providers). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are restricted from using your information for purposes other than providing services for us.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Service, or protect against legal liability.
4. Data Retention
We retain your Account Information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your Account Information within approximately 3 business days of receiving your request via email at hi@paytience.me.
User Prompts and Generated Content associated with your account are retained indefinitely to ensure the continued functionality of the Service (e.g., access to your gallery) unless you request account deletion. Upon account deletion, associated prompts and generated content will also be deleted.
Data processed by our third-party service providers (Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, Replicate, Gemini) is subject to their respective data retention policies.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Account Information: You may review and update certain account information by logging into your account or through Clerk's interfaces.
- Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data (including prompts and generated content) by contacting us at hi@paytience.me. We will process your request within approximately 3 business days.
- Communications: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or other age as required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
